With simple language and colorful illustrations, this book brings the Easter story to life for kids in a way that is both fun and educational.

The story begins with Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. The people wave palm branches and shout, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" Jesus then goes to the temple and drives out the money changers and merchants who are taking advantage of the people. He tells them, "My house is a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves."

On Thursday evening, Jesus has a Last Supper with his disciples. He tells them that he is going to die, but that he will rise again on the third day. After the supper, Jesus goes to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. He is very sad, and he asks his disciples to pray with him. But they fall asleep.

Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus' disciples, has betrayed him. He leads a group of soldiers to the garden and they arrest Jesus. Jesus is taken to the high priest, who questions him and then sends him to Pilate, the Roman governor. Pilate finds Jesus innocent, but the people demand that he be crucified. Pilate gives in to the crowd's demands, and Jesus is crucified on a cross.

Jesus dies on the cross, but on the third day, he rises again. He appears to his disciples and tells them that he has conquered death. The disciples are overjoyed, and they go out and tell the world the good news of Jesus' resurrection.

The Easter Story Retold for Beginners is a wonderful way to teach children about the Easter story. The simple language and colorful illustrations make it easy for young children to understand, and the engaging story will keep them entertained from beginning to end.
