Jasmine's parents were happy to let her keep the duckling. They knew that she would take good care of it. Jasmine named the duckling Button, and they quickly became best friends. Jasmine and Button went on many adventures together. They played in the park, went for walks in the woods, and even went swimming in the river.
One day, Jasmine and Button were playing in the park when they saw a group of boys throwing rocks at a bird. Jasmine was angry. She ran over to the boys and told them to stop. The boys laughed at her, but Jasmine didn't give up. She kept telling them to stop until they finally did.
Jasmine was proud of herself for standing up to the boys. She knew that she had done the right thing. Button was just as proud of her. He waddled over to Jasmine and gave her a little hug.
Jasmine and Button continued to be best friends for many years. They had many more adventures together, and they always had each other's backs. Jasmine knew that she was lucky to have Button in her life, and she loved him very much.
